36RCW Colors: Primary= 36RCW#1 is Yellow, 36RCW#13 is Magenta, 36RCW#25 is Cyan. (Tip) Remove the Indigo Blue pencil PC901, and replace it with PC919 Non-photo Blue. This cyan color does not come with this 72 color set but it is very important.

RCW's Three Set Numbering System:
36RCW#? (colors from #1 to #36) (values: opaque mass-tones = #1.0 to #36.0) (transparent mass-tones = #1.4-5or6 to #36.4-5or6.) (#1.0 is bright yellow, it's a relative tint of transparent Indian yellow #1.4 or a mass-tone opaque yellow.) (tints = #1.01 to #1.09, tints are double diget numbers) (shades = #1.1 to #1.9 are single diget numbers.)

Value: 10 shadow blocks down to neutral dark, 10 tint blocks up to white.

The 3 Primary colors are equally separated by 120 degrees on a circle of 360 degrees. #1 is yellow, #13 is magenta and #25 is cyan.To color in the outer 10 blocks, blend each of these double diget colors evenly to white.

Each 10 degree block of color starts as the pure mass-tone opaque tube color or a relative tint of the transparent color #1.0.
#1.01 is the darkest tint, #1.09 is the lightest tint.

Cyan's transparent gradient colors are from the transparent mass-tone 36RCW#25.6 to the pure top-tone #25.0 to the lightest tint RCW#25.09. RCW#25.0 goes to the darkest shade RCW#25.9.
Cyan #25.0 gets dark by adding blue #19.10. 100% transparent cyan and 100% transparent magenta mix blue.
Cyan changes from cyan to ultramarine blue dark by #25.9.

All colors on the exact other side of the color wheel are opposite and mix to a neutral dark.

Yellow RCW#1 to Red RCW#7 all have a simular phenomenon. Colors from RCW#1 to RCW#7 all darken to red's RCW#7.10, dark just the same way as cyan RCW#25 darkens to blue's dark RCW#19.10. Seven opposite colors all darken to two major darks, brown and blue.

Yes, Indian yellow does come in brown but it's not made into a pigment yet (11-16-12). The Japanese made a synthetic car paint that has the sun effects cyan to blue and yellow to brown but it's not available in a dry pigment.

How to read this palette list.
PC1011 = Prismacolor pencil number for a hue called Deco Yellow, the lightest pencil RCWPC#09 on the RCW/Prismacolor colorwheel. Double digets mean it's a tint color.
RCW#1.09.1 = Real Color Wheel Number for Deco Yellow, a cool tint of Lemon Yellow.
RCWPC#01 = RCW/Prismacolor pencil numbering; starting with Prismacolor's yellow PC#1 and ending with their yellow-green PC#46 of their 72 colors.

Pantone has a magenta ink, C=0, Y=0, M=100% K=0, used to print their Pantone Process Color System Guide. This ink matches the magenta color ink that I print with on my giclee printer. This is the same color on my Real Color Wheel that matches water colors, acrylics and oil paints. This color is Color Index Number PR:122. This color paint I first found perfect was from Liquitex, back when it was still called, by them, Acra Violet, it's been called Magenta now for a long time. Back then (1993) the only transparent yellow was from Old Holland as an oil paint. I guess the first acrylic transparent yellow paint was my own. I got the best Indian Yellow color match from a mural pigment dealer in Florence and made it.

I make watercolors with a transparent yellow from Spectra Colors Corp in New Jersey. This transparent yellow Azo pigment is called Tartrazine, PY100, and it didn't fade or turn brown after 6 months on my dashboard in the Lahaina sun. 'Lahaina' means the Land of the Burning Sun. I tubed another batch on 11-16-12.

Pencils and Pastels and crayons need pressure and lighter colors are not generally made with less pressure, it takes another pencil as pastels use another color. Magenta, PR:122 is Prismacolor's #995 called Mulberry. This is a full hue magenta that in watercolors would be thinned down to make pink. In pencil use #994 called Process Red as the lighter tint of magenta. Both make good darks with green (#909 Grass Green).

Prismacolor 1003 Spanish Orange is a dual-toned pencil. Light rubbing with is will give a lighter hue of yellow. It shows up more with an alcohol wash.

Prismacolor PC922 Poppy Red needs more red in it I think, cadmimum red light would be the natural pigment to use.

Prismacolor's PC903, called True Blue, pencil#31 has too much magenta in it, it's closer to cobalt blue hue. Maybe there is a better match in a larger set but for now I'm moving it to Cobalt Blue's spot, RCW#22. Let me explain my thoughts. Cyan is a transparent color, someday it will be dual-toned with a dark ultramarine blue like yellow is with brown. When using the opaque pencil cyan, it darkens with ultramarine blue, like the sky.

Comparing the darkest browns;
Prismacolors Dark Umber has more red in it than Dark Brown, which is on the yellow side. You needed both colors.
Sepia is the darkest brown in the set. It's raw umber hue, darker than the natural raw umber in oils.
Under a magnifying glass I laid in these colors, the media was soft enough to push around the laid color with the pencil, great for filling in holidays (sparkles). I don't think Prismacolor uses any natural pigments in their pencils.

Prismacolor has 3 dark browns, a magenta side brown RCW#10.10.5, a green side brown RCW#33.10.5 and a yellow side brown RCW#1.8.1. Normally Raw umber is a yellow-green side brown. Burnt umber is normally a red side brown. Prismacolor's Dark Brown is really a lighter burnt umber, a handy color.

Dick Blick has 2 dark browns, a red side and a yellow side. Those are the normal burnt umber and raw umber. Dick Blick calls them Bt Umber and Dk Brown.
Dick Blick also has a better cyan hue RCW#25 called Ice Blue, their darker mass-tone cyan RCW#25.7 is called Azure Blue.
Dick Blick has two different color Cobalt Blues, the dark has more magenta in it. In my opinion they don't even have a cobalt blue hue. They don't have a color named Ultramarine Blue in their 72 pencil set either. Dick Blick's Cobalt Blue Dark is my Ultramarine Blue RCW#19.

Printable 36 Color Wheel, blank colorwheel

Here is the 72 plus one Prismacolor pencil set, without any color blending. I shouldn't have used this one for my color blending because the paper was already compleatly filled in.

But I did..

All pencil colors opposite each other will blend dark neutral. With the Real Color Wheel any brand of colored pencils can be mounted. I didn't have an ult. blue RCW#19 dark enough to show only 10% of color so I added the opposite brown to darken it. RCW#22 and RCW#25 are done with their opposite colors also.

Match your 'any brand' of pencils to this chart and mount them on a Real Color Wheel. Create darker shadow colors by adding the opposite color, any time.

Below are Dick Blick's pencil colors (Thanks Jennie)
Geez, colors are really getting confused. Azure natural's most prominate color in it's range is a cobalt blue hue. It will make from cyan to ultramarine blue but the cyan part is rare. Dick Blick has a cyan hue called Azure, and an ultramarine hue called Cobalt blue Dark but they really have no cobalt blue hue at all. Their Cobalt Blue Dark hue is a ultramarine blue RGB#19 and their Coblat Blue is ultramarine blue red/side. B5 across the top and 4 down looks like cobalt blue on my monitor but that's an RGB problem, in real life it has more magenta in it and a tint of ultramarine blue.
There is no true magenta hue in this set. 3down and 3 across is PV19, a red/side magenta.

Another thing you need to understand is what color pair forms a complementary color set. If you like coloring as a child, or if you want an interesting hobby that leads to artwork, why not try creating your own artwork, depending on its depth, design books and posters designed by artists. The color continues very easily. There are other colors that must be left complete and white. So now you have 12 unique colors or colors that will develop into a foundation for mixing all the different colors. Or if you have a wet tip, you have the same color with a higher intensity.
The first step in making art prints is to capture digitally so that you will be able to print from your PC. Graph paper is a necessary tool for all people who crochet. The document sheet protective sheet that I use is a 1 inch scale.

Holding a color swatch is almost always a fantastic idea because there is often a difference between the color of sugar cane and pigment. In addition, you also need bright color lipstick to make your lips look more natural and beautiful. That’s great if you have 132 new pencils that you need to sharpen! There are some suggestions that you can make to fix a damaged pencil. Prismacolor guides sharpening pencils require a little extra attention. Prismacolor Premier pencils leave lots of flowering candles. Outline the procedure to determine the shadows that produce thin lines. Using shadow colors.
If you are late, look at the section for procrastinators to scroll to the end. The four parts of the circle ensure it’s easy to adjust the color around the color wheel, and it’s large enough to have the ability to hold the entire Caran d’Ache 120 Colored Collection pencil. Some people today prefer striped pages, but others prefer non-striped ones so they can draw and write.

Coloring pages for adults and books is one of the ideal ways to relax and be creative. Needless to say, you will want to document standard information such as date, time, weather conditions and location.
If you choose the first choice, then the customer may feel confused and you can go without buying. If you like the second alternative, then look at the next scenario. There are many choices for mixing as follows. There is also the choice of plain canvas.
Prismacolor Premier colored pencils are famous for bright color reviews, ease of use and eternity. Velina is not difficult to work, but must be handled carefully. Plain white parchment can be the most known by most craftsmen.
The unique price for the same product ‘is the bargain you want to put money into. Some of my favorite items are produced there. Products are sold at reasonable prices. Products sell out quickly and are very challenging to get them at fair prices elsewhere. Then sent to the buyer’s agent warehouse. Standard and very good price. You can have an ideal ink flow rate, and that will remain so forever.

Once the paint is extracted from the tube or can, it is usually finished forever. The color continues very well. Primary colors are colors that can be obtained by mixing different colors. But if you receive the wet tip, you have exactly the same color but more intensity. It is best to start engraving with lighter colors, but it is still true that you have to clean the colorless mixer frequently. Secondary colors can often be a similar color. Using split complementary colors can give you a drawing with a high level of contrast.

Which is really cool if you have 132 new pencils that need to be sharpened! There are some tips that you can use to fix your broken pencils. It’s important to realize that being one of the best artists is worth it.
